Food Vendor Information

Food Vendor Qualifications & Spaces.

If you are serving any type of food item, this will qualify you as a "Food Vendor". Per Health Department Regulations, food may not be sold or served in exhibitor booths. All food vendors will be given an assigned area to park food trucks, trailers or stands.

Deadlines & Fees

Applications are due by August 28,2026. Any applications received after this date will not be accepted. This ensures enough time for vendors to be placed accordingly. The food vendor fee is $100.00 due at time of application. Your application will not be processed until payment is received.

Insurance

Prior to the festival, all Food Vendors are required to supply Kirksville Arts Association with a $1,000,000 liability insurance certificate. There must be a section for "Additional Insured". In this section, the Kirksville Arts Association and Red Barn Arts & Crafts Festival must be listed. Insurance must be approved by the Kirksville Arts Association.

Tax & Licensing

Prior to the festival, all Food Vendors are required to supply Kirksville Arts Association with a Missouri Tax ID. Kirksville Arts Association is required to submit all food vendor information to the City of Kirksville.

Per the City of Kirksville Code of Ordinances Sec. 12-17., food vendors must obtain a Business License through the City if they do not already have one. You can find the application here. For more information, click here.

Electrical / Generators

Electrical outlets are available on the pole lights. If you need electrical, please specify in your application so you can be placed accordingly. Generators are allowed.

Award

Each vendor is allowed to participate for our "Favorite Food Award" at no additional cost. To participate or opt-out, please indicate on your application. Each participant will need to give a sample to our appointed food judge. Our appointed judge will have a name tag and will come to you.

I have read this application and I agree to accept all the rules and instructions contained therein. In addition, I waive any claim of liability against the Kirksville Arts Association, resulting from my participation in the Red Barn Arts and Crafts Festival. I authorize the Festival Committee to use any information from this application for promotion of the festival.

All vendors must comply with Missouri state and county public health regulations governing the preparation, handling, and presentation of food. Vendors selling prepared foods are responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses and/or permits. KAA will not provide ice
