Donating to the Kirksville Arts Association
Each and every donation received is extremely appreciated. With your support of the arts, we are able to continue to provide our community and surrounding communities with free exhibits, events, workshops and more. The Kirksville Arts Association is a 5013c Not For Profit organization.
Artwork & Supply Donation:
Artwork and supply donations are accepted at any time during business hours. Please contact our administrator at 660-665-0500 prior to drop off to ensure your donation will fit the needs of the Arts Association.
Monetary Donation:
The Kirksville Arts Association is primarily funded through our Missouri Arts Council Operations Grant. Your monetary donations can assist K.A.A. in keeping the arts alive and well within our community as well as surrounding communities.

Funding: Our biggest single source of income is our Missouri Arts Council Operations Grant, which we apply for and receive annually. Funds for Missouri Arts Council derive from the Nonresident Professional Athlete and Entertainers’ Tax. Missouri Statute requires 60% of that tax be allocated to Missouri Arts and our four cultural partners: Missouri State Library Networking Fund, Missouri Humanities Council Trust Fund, Missouri Public Broadcasting Corporation Special Fund and the Missouri Historic Preservation Revolving Fund, at present the allocation is below that statutory amount. Last year the tax generated $40.9 million dollars with $10.1 million allocated to the Missouri Arts Council.
